1. Agreement to these terms

By using SelfScenario, including the Nexus Scan and any of its modules — Career, Money, Relationships, Lifestyle, Self-growth, Brutal Truths, What-if, and Fate Roulette — you agree to the terms on this page. Every result is a simulation based on the inputs you provide: a projection, not an inevitable outcome. You are solely responsible for any real-world decisions you make after seeing a result.

2. Information we collect

• Simulation inputs: Answers and numbers you enter into the Nexus Scan or any module are processed to generate your result for that session.
• No account required: You can use every tool on this site without creating an account or logging in.
• Technical data: Like most websites, we automatically receive some technical information when you visit — such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, and which pages you view — through the cookies and tools described below.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies, for three purposes: keeping the site functional, understanding how visitors use it, and showing relevant advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect how some features of the site behave.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic and which modules people actually use. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as approximate location, device type, and on-site behavior. This data is aggregated and is not used by us to personally identify individual visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Advertising

SelfScenario may display advertising served by Google and other third-party advertising partners. These partners may use their own cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites; we do not control these third-party cookies directly. You can manage how Google personalizes ads to you at Google Ads Settings, and manage other providers’ personalized ads through the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance. Where required by applicable law, non-essential advertising and analytics cookies are only set after you provide consent.

6. Children’s privacy

SelfScenario is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Your choices and rights

Most of what you enter into a simulation exists only for that session. To ask what data, if any, is associated with you, or to request deletion, contact us using the details on our Contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we will respond to verifiable requests consistent with applicable law.

8. Not a substitute for professional advice

Whatever a module diagnoses — an archetype, a trajectory, a “regret probability” — that result should not replace a licensed financial advisor, a therapist, or a lawyer. SelfScenario exists to provoke clearer thinking through simulation, not to direct your real-life decisions.

9. Acceptable use

This platform is built for honest self-reflection. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer the simulation engine, bypass its constraints, or use any module to generate harmful, defamatory, or illegal content. We reserve the right to restrict access for anyone violating these terms.

10. External links

SelfScenario may link to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for, and this policy does not cover, the content or privacy practices of sites we don’t operate.

11. Limitation of liability

SelfScenario and its creators are not liable for psychological distress, financial decisions, or relationship changes resulting from use of the simulations. You use every module at your own discretion. The results are sometimes uncomfortable by design — treat them as a prompt for reflection, not a verdict.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the simulation engine and its modules evolve. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
